With the after effects files you can can put your own lip synch clip over the video. Using green makeup over areas outside of the lips, we will be able to key out the areas leaving only the mouth. When recording the clip you must make sure everything you don’t want in the video is painted and lit very constantly without any patches or shadow. As they will interfere with the keying so they might leave bits outside of the lips in the video. Keeping the camera steady on a tripod or something will also help to prevent the lips from moving around unnaturally in the video. Once the clip is filmed you can replace the existing lips clip simply by holding ALT and dragging your clip onto the existing clip. Your clip should then be in the same position as the lips and have all of it’s effects including the key as well. Adjustment may be necessary to get the look you want.
